Two Bisexuals

Both Chase and Kudzu decided to buy pride capes independently, to surprise one another. The packages just arrived, delivered by an acerbic young black cat.

“Changing in seperate rooms?” Kudzu asked.

“Way ahead of you” Chase said, going to the bathroom.

A moment passed. Chase was the first to come out, wearing a rainbow cape. Kudzu arrived a moment later, wearing a bisexual pride cape.

“Wow” Chase said, rubbing his arm, “that’s a choice.”

“Yeah I’m bi” Kudzu said, “what of it?”

“N-nothing!” Chase reassured, “It’s just that, I think I’m bi too?”

“Oh? I thought you were gay.”

“That’s what I say to people when they ask, because I think it’s overexplain-y. I’m mostly into guys anyway, so what does it even matter?”

“Of course it matters” Kudzu said, hugging Chase and pecking him on the cheek, “We must be true to all parts of ourselves. It’s okay if you don’t want to come out as bi, but it’s part of you. You should nourish it.”

“What, dating girls?”

“No, just being honest and shit. It’s not that hard to explain, trust me.”

The two sat on the couch, nuzzling into one another.

“So, did you ever had a crush on Jenna?” Kudzu asked, smirking.

“Y-yeah, but it’s been a long time.”

“No no, I get it. I’m just asking because you seemed to have had a crush on your male friends, besides Leo of course.”

“I know.”

The two kissed.

“Ready to go?”

“Yup.”

And so the two left the house, into the pride parade.
