That Christmas review

That Christmas is, about a town trapped in a snowstorm in Christmas, focusing on an ensemble cast of multiple kids. It is, as you can guess, a fairly typical Christmas children’s movie. It has some crass humor and an unique Brittish charm, as well as a few charismatic characters like the redhead guy who has a vibrant child-like sense of wonder and excitement.

However, that’s where the uniqueness ends. It is a fairly unremarkable Christmas story otherwise. The animation doesn’t help; it’s a typical CGI movie with that bubbly CGI aesthetics. This is particularly woeful as they show a clip of Shawn the Sheep early on, which reminds one of more unique animation ot there.

A lukewarm recommendation.
