Pride Sundae
“That’ll be all?” the barista said.
“Yes” TJ said, paying and grabbing the two sundaes.
He walked over to Sydney, who was watching the parade floats. Until his sensitive nose got a whiff of the ice cream, at least.
“Oh, they look even better in person!” he said, quickly grabbing his from his husband’s paw.
TJ utter a short prayer, and they both dug in.
“Mm, so good” TJ said.
The sundaes were technically both caramel and cholocate, but there were food pigments that made them look like rainbows. Redder tones bound better with the caramel while bluer tones bound better with the chocolate. It didn’t take long for both of them to finish, and as he did Sydney did a footsie with TJ, calling his attention.
“Hey, wanna order another set?”
TJ was about to reprimand Sydney, as they both needed to be on diets for their athletic jobs. But, it was pride month. Heck, they deserved it.
“Sure.”
