Mutant Mayhem review

I didn’t think it was possible to leave an animated movie bored….

…yet this movie did that for me.

The story overall is okay. Extremely predictable, you can more or less visualize the ending in the first ten minutes. The acceptance plotline is also adorable considering this movie’s obsession with straight couples (including beastiality), coming right the heels of the most LGBT interpretation of the Ninja Turtles (Rise).

The visuals are painted CGI like many recent animated films, yet you can barely feel it. Most of the palette is on various shades of sickly green so you don’t experience ocular sensations like the Spiderverse or Puss in Boots. Still, kudos to the animators, they must have worked hard on that.
