“Oh my goodness, what happened?” TJ’s mom asked, half-concerned and half-amused.

As the two stood i the porch, its clear by the ruffled fur and scent that they had a tryst in the car, though at least they were presentable. TJ looked pretty embarassed but happy; it was Sydney who seemed atypically meek, since standing like that if front of your bf’s mother is bound to be mortifying.

“Well, by your silence I guess it goes without saying you should be more careful” TJ’s mother said, trying to sound judgemental but barely suppressing a giggle, “Just go to your room and fix yourselves a little.”

“O-Okay, we’ll do that” Sydney said, grabbing TJ by the wrist and walking up the stairs as fast as they could.

“Oh, did they arrived already?” TJ’s father asked.

“Yes. Let’s just give them a little space for cleaning up, alright?”

“Let me guess, they did things in the car.”

TJ’s father shook his head, but he was smiling.

“Hope it isn’t too messy. The things I do for my son’s happiness…”

Up stairs, Sydney and TJ opted to take a shower together, to speed things along. While they frequently had sex in the shower, right then they were pretty spent, and honestly just cuddling and massaging your boyfriend while warm watter flows down is a rarely appreciated worldly pleasure.

“Want me to wash your head, baby?” Sydney said softly.

“Yes please! Just let me close your eyes.”

“Okay my love. Just tell me if your eyes hurt and I’ll wash it all away, okay?”

TJ nodded, and Sydney put a single drop of shampoo in the lynx’s headfur. Starting with a bit of warm water, he quickly turned the already pale fur into snow white and bubbly, taking care to not slide down to his boyfriend’s face as he massaged his scalp.

“Your paws are a godsend, you know that?” TJ moaned.

“Oh, thank you babe. Do you want me to lower down to your shoulders? Its as low as I’ll go, otherwise we might get stuck here for a while…”

“I still haven’t washed you, mind you” TJ said, “So we’ll be here for a while anyways. But yes, rub my shoulders and I’ll see what I can do for you.”

“Toby, don’t say that. I’m trying to not get hard again.”

The shower took an hour longer than intended, but it served them well. As they got down the stairs, TJ’s parents had already set the cake and the candles.

“Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday dear Toby,

Happy birthday to you!”

There was much clapping and rejoicing, but mostly clapping.

TJ kissed his mother and hugged his father strongly before blowing his 23 shaped candle pair. He wished for nothing in particular, in equl parts because he felt thankful for all the Lord had given him and because he honestly couldn’t think of anything at the moment.

“So, I think its time I revealed my gift” Sydney said, raising the couch pillow to reveal a box.

“Syd, being with you every day is a gift enough in and of itself.”

“As it is being with you, my ever-stunning dawn of my life, but I have a feeling you’ll like this regardless.”

“You have such a good way with words” TJ’s mother said, “Dear, why don’t you ever talk to me like that?”

“Don’t have much of an artist’s voice, I’m afraid” TJ’s father said sadly.

“Nonsense, just your choice of words proves otherwise” Sydney said, “Well, anyways, here’s this.”

“Thank you” TJ said, grabbing the box.

Opening it, he gasped. It was…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..a luxurious set of sports gear clad in shining silver and red.

“Been saving up for a while. I can tell you like it.”

TJ hugged his boyfriend and kissed him deeply.

“Thank you so much! I swear I’ll make it up to you on your birthday.”

“Please don’t say that, I honestly don’t want you to feel endebted. Just enjoy this, okay?”

TJ didn’t answer, just nuzzled against Sydney’s cheek.
