Mason woke up groggily.

He yawned his nearly undamaged opossum toothline, then walked over to prepare for the day.

It was pride month, which he intended to celebrate every day of the month.

He took off his chest binders, flattening his breasts until he found a suitable substitute. He opted for a tampoon since it was ‘naughtier’; with that out of the way, he looked over his vast selection of pins, flags and capes.

“This will do nicely”, intentionally quoting Machine Head.

He thought about calling Lucas or River, but he decided against it. He lounged on his bed, just a few more hours until his shift, but already dressed to kill. He bore a smaller trans pride flag that wouldn’t conflict with his nurse outfit. His pins were on the shirt he picked — a punkish “Die Young” sort — soon to be revealed once his shift was over.

He looked for his phone for gay bars, and settled on one called Aqalax — high energy, kinda seedy.

With all that he made a few small adjustments to his clothes, and off he went
